Join My List And You'll Instantly Make A Billion Dollars*. * Not really. But you can still join it. And most people hate spam, but I love it. A LOT. Just so you know. |
After dusting off my old PC and making it into lean, mean, money making machine I am once again ready for some work.
Actually not “some work”… This week is going to be hectic.
And here’s why — we are going to build a list of at least 2000 people. Of course, the more we get, the better I feel, but that’s the minimum.
The problem here is that the largest list I had before (and I only had a list once) was of 2000 people, but it took me somewhere around 3-5 months to build it. But then I didn’t know what I know now and here’s where comes this master plan, which will require a lot of hard work and shorter sleeping hours.
Here’s how it’s all going to happen:

Here’s the rough sketch.
There are thousands of social bookmarking sites but I chose these, simply because I’ve tested them and know what results might be expected.
The center of it all, of course is a OptIn form. I will create two versions of it, showing it depending on from which site the traffic is coming. For example if it’s from Digg, Stumble or Propeller the optin page should have some decent article so visitors would be more likely to optin.
Now if it’s YouTube, Ezines — I think the standard optin form should do it.
Ok, now what’s there to be done.
Since I think it will take me 7 days to reach 2000 I will split tasks into that period. First of all Squidoo:

Basically what I will do is create a number of Squidoo pages which will link to each other. On Day 1 I will create to pages on the main keyword for my niche, which will link to my optin page. On the second day I will create 4 pages on the second keyword for my niche and these 4 sites will link to the 2 built before and so on..
Then there’s YouTube and other video hosting sites:

It’s pretty simple but time consuming. I will make 4 videos, watermark them with my sites URL and spread them across the web. Really simple but, like I already said, time consuming.
Also, there’s MySpace:

This thing is exhausting in the beginning but later everything will be automatized, so the hardest part will be to create those 30 profiles and a template for them. But after that, it’s piece of cake with Friend Blaster, which I already own (Polishing My Tools.)
Further on…

I hate forums. Especially when I have to post 50 posts per day, but that’s what has to be done. If I choose the biggest and largest forums on that niche, this thing only should attract a decent amount of traffic to my optin page — people just love to click on the links in your signature.
And also, there’s Ezines…

Although on the first image it says that I will post only 1 article per day, somethings made me realize that I have to push 110% if I want to make it. So now, it’s 2 posts per day on Ezinearticles.com and maybe some other article directories.
And finally, there’s Social Bookmarking sites…

That’s pretty much it…
Today I will be preparing for Tomorrow — Day 1 — and from then on there will be lots of typing and submitting.
So if everything goes according to plan and with a little bit of luck in 7 days I will have a list of more than 2000 people. If not, we will have to repeat it all over again next week, because it’s crucial to have a decent amount of subscribers in order to continue membership site building.

Obviously, it would be an understatement to say that this is going to be one hell of a week.
Bonne Chance!
Nice gameplan, pretty informative. What content will your posts on forums have? I can’t imagine write 50 posts a day@_@. I know you will try to write informative and quality ones, but I just cannot imagine their content. Whatever, good luck and keep us updated ;).
Now this is getting serious, good luck with the implementation! ![]()
Yeah, it looks scarier than it should be.
I’ve just finished registering and polishing my 30th MySpace account, so everything that is left to be done is just send out those invites. Pretty simple, knowing that from now on all of this will be done automatically. So one down, 5 more to go.
Believe me, I think it’s impossible to post 50 posts a day that are all informative - at least for me.
Naturally there will be a variety of them. In fact a while ago, when Dan Raine held his 15k Challenge he too used forums as a main traffic driving force to his site.
When you Google up those posts you can see that that Guy has nothing to do with crafts. His posts are short and are more likely comments to the posts rather than a educational material, nevertheless he got his >3 000 subscribers in less than a week.
Hi A., what are your thoughts on Apples thinnest laptop in the world? It went public yesterday and is shipping ini 2-3 weeks time in USA. http://www.APPLE.com ![]()
Dude, you are one wicked marketer! I love your graphics, it really helps me wrap my head around different strategies that I should employ! I’m featuring this post in this week’s Sunday Seven, stop on by!
Hi Ed, just follow my link in this comment (click on my name). I feature a Sunday seven on most weeks with a link fest to 7 of the week’s best posts. Cheers!
[...] thing is that I get a lot of traffic, using those methods that I mentioned in this post, but the thing is that visitors do not convert too [...]
