Taking Care Of Business - Offline

I’m starting a business venture offline and you are going to witness how I am going to do it.

While doing projects blogging or writing in a journal is probably the best thing to do to keep your mind straight. During membership site project it was the main thing that kept me going. Sadly, I decided to stop it, because of the many copycats that emerged during it.

This time it’s going to be a little bit different. You have to learn from your mistakes. I will not disclose all the details. In fact, I will be very careful about it, which will make to write about it a little bit harder.

So forgive me in advance if some details will be missing. Better safe than sorry…

If you are wondering what I will be doing now, here’s something for you to munch on.

It will be the first time I try something offline, which scares a shit out of me.

All those taxes, lawyers,  accountants and contracts are making thing much harder to start but sooner or later it has to be done. So why not to do it right now and just learn as you go?

The whole business model is as simple as this getting leads, sending them direct mail offer, going into the meeting with them and trying to sell the product.

As for to-do list…

All this week I’ve been working on a copy and I think I will finish it this weekend. After which I will start calling my potential customers and asking for names of people that are responsible for making buying decisions. When I have that info I will mail them a letter with short description of my product, which, hopefully, will result them in calling me.

So here goes nothing — this whole weekend is copywriting weekend.
