Pretty strict, isn’t it? Anyway it is possible to make a delicious dishes out of these products and they are, really filling and tasty.
For example today I had 150 g. of Carp with beetroot. And it was amazing, seriously.

Hey, that seems pretty strict to me. Where will come the proteins from? Rice and fishes will be enough?
Good luck with diet though ![]()
Yeah, nuts and bananas are products that are not recommended during weight-loss period, mostly because nuts are VERY high in calories and bananas are very starchy.
Concerning proteins, there are thousand theories that you can only get your protein from meat, but in fact you get enough protein from vegetables and fruits, not only fish and rice.
In the end, you just gotta try for yourself to see if it works for you or not… ![]()
That’s a crazy ass diet if you ask me. Wouldn’t survive a week on that one without my nuts and meats and TEA (what’s wrong with it?)
I guess if ate enough strawberries, then maybe I could survive. Oh and um, honey and carrots. lol.
Where did you think that diet up from? I don’t think beetroot in that quantity is especially healthy for you either. Why don’t you just count calories- eat a variety of fruit and veg and get some exercise? You’ll soon lose weight. Good luck with it though. x
I would now say, that food is the 3rd topic to be avoided at the party, after religion and politics…
Anon, yeah I’ve read somewhere that eating beetroot in large quantities is not healthy, but I can’t remember where exactly and what side effects does it have on the body. Plus, I eat beetroot only once per 4 days and one portion is more-less 130 grams. So I guess, I’m pretty safe here…
Either way, I’m still sticking to what I’ve started… I paid that girl pretty sum, so it either works or I get my money back, according to their policy.
Plus, this is the first phase of the whole “lifestyle makeover.” Apparently, after 3 months they will add more products on my list. So be patient.
Oh, and about TEA… I drink red and fruit tea.
Green tea has a lot of caffeine in it, which lowers blood sugar levels, which results in wanting “something sweet.” I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve heard that green tea has more caffeine than coffee itself…
the green tea thing is actually incorrect. I think this diet is very unhealthy, has no essentially fats. look into it before you cause your body harm
I think this is far too strict, as well.
As far as green tea goes: an average cup has 20-30mg of caffeine. An average cup of coffee has 60-100mg of caffeine. Green tea is one of the most beneficial drinks for us other than water or milk.
Bananas may have starch, but they also have essential vitamins and minerals like potassium. Don’t forget the monkeys, dude. That’s all they eat! They’re just like us!
You are expecting your meal plan to do all the weight-loss work for you, and it’s not going to work, my friend. You can’t be healthy on a meal of fish and beetroot. No matter what your calorie restrictions are, you *need* to be getting at least 30-40% of your calories from carbohydrates. If you don’t, you’ll lack energy and you won’t be able to maintain the levels of activity necessary to burn weight off.
Also without any form of dairy, where are you getting calcium, vitamin D from? Both are incredibly essential to vital body functions. Without calcium your muscles cannot contract. Your nerves shut down. Your bones and teeth weaken. You put yourself at high risk for developing joint and ligament complications. These are things you learn in biology and human anatomy/physiology classes. Not on some health forum where one person with their personal opinion tries to preach the truth. Avoiding dairy is very unsafe, in my opinion.
I think people these days are too afraid of sugars and carbs. Too much of any one thing is never good. Even beetroot. As mentioned by somebody earlier, just count your calories and focus on getting the right nutrients. There are few foods Mother Earth provides that are going to be empty calories. Stay active. Avoid refined foods. You’ll be healthy in no time. Best of luck to you, and I hope this plan or whatever you settle upon works.
Ahu. I agree with most the guy before me said (except that you need 30-40% from carbs thing, won’t going to argue tho:) ).
It’s not that carbs are bad, it’s that people who eat incorrectly get them from all the wrong places (pastries, white bread, sweets) instead of the natural way (veggies and fruit).
Counting calories is unnatural too, btw.
