If you want to increase your blog’s RSS subscribers number, then you should always offer them a full feed. Lot’s of blogs of 30 day challenge contestants offer only RSS feed summary, which is totally not cool.
I don’t read those blogs. I instantly mark them as “read“, because I find it insulting and a waste of my time. Why should I visit your site every time you update it, when I’m already subscribed to your feed?
Now I don’t even subscribe to those feeds, which are not full.
Right now there are more than 50 feeds in my Google Reader and daily I get at least 60 new posts to read. It takes a lot of time, but if I had to visit every single blog to read new posts, it would be madness. So if you don’t have a full RSS feed - I’m not subscribing.
Use your RSS feed to give readers add free version of your blog and don’t use it as a teaser to get them to visit your blog — that’s just cheap.

Interesting. I run a blog and I am in the 30DC but your post got me thinking? Do I offer a full feed? I am not sure but your point is well taken. Income Hero - I know your busy withthe challenge but you could look at: http://www.blueskybrothers.com and let me know if I am teasing or pleasing?

Your’s is full too.
If you are using Wordpress and you want to change your feed delivery, go to your Admin Panel > Options > Reading > Choose “Full Text” in “Syndication Feeds” area.
